Album Info:D&S 486 led a train into Silverton. But when they serviced it on the wye, the train crew couldn't get any lubrication into the main bearing of the left front driver. They went back into town to load the passengers and tried again. They still couldn't get any lube in, so they cut off 486, fired up the critter that sits in Silverton to protect against exactly this kind of situation, took the train back to Durango with the critter, and waited for shop forces to drive up from Durango to get some lube into the bearing so they could take 486 back down the canyon.
