Description:  Here is another b&w photo of Chicago South Shore & South Bend "Little Joe" #803 in the Michigan City yard behind the engine house. It appears to be one of the fan trips that were arranged during the 1960's & 1970's. No photographer was listed for the negative nor was a date given so an approximate date was used.

Description:  Here is a sharp image from an original negative of the Chicago South Shore & South Bend "Little Joe" #803 built in 1949 originally for the Russian goverment. No photographer or date was given but with the logo "The Little Engine That Could" on the side puts it in the mid-1970's as CSSB fought to stay alive. .

CSS 803 - Chicago South Shore & South Bend
Title:  CSS 803 - Chicago South Shore & South Bend
Description:  Here is a color action slide of Chicago South Shore & South Bend #803 on a local shuttle run. The unit is now showing a lot of wear and will eventually be retired in 1982 only to be reborn at the Illinois Rwy Museum in Union, IL. It is now fully restored and is put into service a few times a year. No photographer was listed for this color slide.
