Album Info:While touring through the Missouri countryside during the summer of 2010, we stumbled across the train depot and Missouri Pacific caboose in Wellsville, Missouri. Not much information is available concerning either one. The sign located in front states it is Burlington Northern depot from 1907 to 1981 however online sources suggest that it was a Chicago Burlington & Quincy depot built in the late 1880's or 1890's. According to the "Utah Rails" website, the MoPac caboose "Sold in December 1986 to an employee in Jefferson City, Mo., who then donated it to a local charity; displayed at CB&Q Depot Museum, Wellsville, Mo., as of April 2003. (Information from Roger Kirkpatrick)." The depot seemed to be a museum but was not open when we stopped by. If anyone has additional information about either item, let me know and I will update this page.
