Description:  This 1911 Alco-Richmond built locomotive was caught by R.W. Legg as it sits with a head of steam and a load of coal, ready to drag some more coal cars. Specifics - H-2, 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" high pressure cylinders, 35x32" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 400,000 lb, tractive effort of 93,600 lb. All were scrapped by 1935. No exact day in October, 1931, was listed for this photo.
