Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) built this 2-8-0 Consolidation in 1/1902 (serial #19999, class 789) The Vauclain compound locomotive was simplified in November of 1909 at La Junta, NM. The loco was finally sold for scrap to Luria Brothers on 9/12/1950. Simplified specs - 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 24x32" cylinders, engine weight of 203,115 lb, tractive effort of 49,500 lb.
