Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the 46th Street Enginehouse in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 5 December 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8281, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during September of 1918 and retired in May of 1948 after 30 years of faithful service. The names of the two Railroaders pictured here are not recorded. Gary Mittner Collection.
