BM #648 - Boston & Maine |
Description: |
Here is a very old and unfortunately deteriorating photo of a 1928 Baldwin built 0-8-0 for the Boston & Maine RR. It was their class H-3a with 52" drivers. Surprisingly it could generate a whopping 250 psi boiler pressure to deliver to its 23"x28" cylinders. The class was retired by 5/1951. No date, location or photographer listed so the posting is an approximated date and area. |
