John Hooper General Can anyone give a hint about the modified roofline? 10/8/2006 12:50:42 AM
John Hooper General I checked a few other roads and there are different air intakes. Would it be right to assume smaller intakes are part of winterizing a loco for snow country running? I ask that because where I live we don't have snow and winter means you might need to wear a sweater some days! 10/8/2006 1:31:46 AM
Robert Smith General The roof line has nothing to do with winterization. GP30s were built in the early 1960s, and the roof line/locomotive was designed to resemble the automotive styling of the 60s. 10/8/2006 9:39:16 AM
