Amtrak/VIA westbound International stops to pick up passengers at East Lansing. When The International began in 1982, it operated using VIA Rail LRC Engines and "Tempo" cars, or Amtrak F40s and Amfleet cars. The VIA LRC engines and cars vanished from the train in 1990.
