Stu Nicholson General This 1886 dimension limestone building was the L&M’s first engine house at Marblehead. When the Kelley Island Lime & Transport Company erected a larger engine house for the L&M in 1903, this building served as the line’s passenger coach and motor car barn. It was torn down on January 23, 1992, to make room for a parking lot. Source: http://www.mhpress.com/LMRR.pdf 8/25/2013 3:50:15 PM
