A Conrail APL train rolls east, Im thinking near the old Red Apple Rest on NY 17. Thanks to commenter Mark Jacobs for spurring me to look at my slides and notes from that weekend to determine a location.

Mark Jacob General I've looked at this shot several times since it was posted, and as well as I know that line, I still can't figure out where this is. Did you get any other pics of this train at this location that might give more clues, or at any other locations to give an idea of what part of the line this actually is? 1/22/2018 2:24:15 PM
