| In 1988, the Texas Mexican Ry began to offer limited passenger service thru passenger trains between Corpus Christi and Laredo TX. Aside from nostalgic feelings; it lagely failed. A new prefab building was constructed after a red brick freight depot (which TM had already razed prior to 1988). After TM ceased passenger ops, the new TM passenger depot was moved from TM's downtown yard to the port area where it resides today. |
