| The new B 40s were used on just about everything. Here 4032 is switching some passenger cars, positioning this obs on the rear for a trip to Jersey. Buildings are notable too. The tower to the right is the Lackawanna station, still in use, through for non rail purposes. The brick building to the left is the Erie freight house, unused except for an office in the head house where the local crew on WABH 11 is based. It will be demolished in the mid 90's, and a small more modern building erected, a brick structure in character with the building in this photo. |
