I would speculate that this was Train Number 23, the Afternoon Zephyr, also known as the Twin Cities Zephyr. There were two Twin Cities Zephyrs in each direction every day, so they acquired the monikers Morning and Afternoon. I thought about cropping the photo better, but there is motion blur on the lead unit, so I decided to leave it as is. |
