PRR 2516, GF-25, 1965
Brickyard. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train at the Brickyard Crossing in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 18 July 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2516, #2329, and #2370. #2516 is a GF-25 built by GE in 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2329 and #2370 are EF-22's built by EMD in 1965 and rated at 2,200 horsepower each. They are pulling a 68-car westbound mixed-cargo freight train with caboose #477863. There are also two pushers on the end: PRR engines #6302 and #6307.
