WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 28 March 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engine #4886 and another unit whose number is not recorded. #4886 is a GG-1 built in Juniata during March of 1939. They are idling-away on the Locomotive Ready Tracks at the Market Street Bridge, just West of the Harrisburg Passenger Station. |
