A CN local crosses E. Green Bay St./Hwy. 22/Hwy. 47/Hwy. 55 (and formerly Hwy. 29) as it heads southeast with 5 boxcars via former SOO rails at Shawano, WI, on 19 Sep. '20. The SOO, originally W&N, depot would have been visible to the left of the train from 1906 until it disappeared in the fall of 2013. The United Cooperative Feed Mill, 660 E. Seward St., dominates the scene. Between 2015-'17, almost all of the feed mill's buildings were razed and new, larger ones erected in their place during a nearly $7 million expansion project. |
