Photo Caption: "First locomotive in America driven by steam upon a track. Built and run by John Steven in 1825." Shown here is the replica of the "John Stevens" that was built in the PRR's Altoona Works during 1925 and is presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg. |
