Here is page one of a two-page article entitled "Pennsy Aerotrain." It was published originally in the April 1956 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 6. Shown here are two front-end views of the Pennsylvania Railroad's "Aerotrain" ~ built by General Motors during July of 1955 ~ as it's prepared for one of its daily roundtrip runs from New York City to Pittsburgh and back. The road number of the GG-1 electric locomotive depicted in the lower photo is not recorded. |
