Frisco 4-8-2 #1522 faces the burly ATSF #512 in the Amory, MS, yard. Note the rail fans out for a leg stretch as they travel the "Peach Blossom Special". Larry R. Stiles caught the two locos during their face-off - a steamer versus its nemesis, a diesel!
