Tony Fernandez General This is the former UP Diner #4807 built by AC&F 1949, which was used as a Training Car on the UP from 1973-1986 (dates may be off somewhat). A similar picture taken from an identical angle may be found in Ralph Barger's "UP Business Cars" on page 174. On the following page, George Cockle's photo shows the opposite side taken Aug 1986, and there it's lettered "Terminal Planning." Barger reports the car as scrapped in 1986...Nice to see the report of its demise was premature! 5/11/2008 11:19:19 AM
