Built by Alco-Brooks in May of 1918, Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific 2-8-2 Mikado #2585 lasted in service for nearly 32 years before being sold for scrap in December of 1950. Specs - K-60 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine wt of 332,230 lb and tractive effort of 63,467 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
