Description:
NS GP38 2883 runs a cut of cars through Chesapeake VA in May 1990. It's passing under Berkley Road and will quickly cross the Elizabeth River on its way into Norfolk proper. the unit is from the original Norfolk Southern and rebuilt with a high short hood. It's since moved on to a series of soztheastern shortlines and regained its snort hood.
