Description: |
Here is an original photo by John S. Fisher that was taken in Columbus, Ohio, in June of 1958. Caption On Reverse: "PRR 2-8-0. Columbus. June, '58." Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8014, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company as number "7008" during April of 1916, renumbered "8014" in 1917, and retired in October of 1958 after 42 years of faithful service. Looks to me like it's seen better days! |
